Bolsward also fared well in history. This can be seen, among other things, in the town hall of Bolsward. A beautiful building built around 1615. In 1765, the building was made even more beautiful. Also, the location of Bolsward ensured that they could trade well with Amsterdam through Makkum.\n\nToday, Bolsward is very much worth visiting.
