5 Would you also like to explore nature yourself?

Do you also want to experience Bosk nice and active in the summer? Then buy your own Boskpack in the museum store of nature museum Fryslân with different materials to investigate! With these materials you can see how tall the trees are with your tree meter, you can play Bosk bingo and find leaves, flowers and critters from a map. The Boskpack is also handy after your visit to the forest, you can use it as a grow bag for the tree seeds inside. There are fun activities for all ages.

How nice is it to go boating on the Frisian water on a sunny, summer day? In Friesland, we have plenty of opportunities for this! In Leeuwarden, there is a water route project called Inner Voice. This sound art project aims to quiet each person on a whisper boat, reflect on how you relate to the soundscape of an environment and reconnect with nature by connecting with sound. 7 Tall Ships Races

This summer is finally here again! Harlingen will once again host the world’s finest Tall Ships with their international crews and trainees. At this event, numerous Tall Ships return every year since 1956 all over the world. During this event, all of Harlingen is enveloped in nautical atmospheres. The ships sail into Harlingen on July 14. This event is a great summer tip!
